The farm is one of three that the Hammertons operate. Doug and Dave each have their own farm on the same road. The photo shows the farm in the early 1970's, when her and her husband, Murray, first established the Murton Brae farm name. The ability to either feed their livestock, or sell the soybeans, gives the Hammertons extra income, should they need it.
